White button pearls and faceted rock crystal quartz gemstones dangle a sterling silver intricate snowflake cross (1 inch) with a white topaz in the center. Briolettes frame the focal. Earth and sky haven. Large organic nuggets of aquamarine and green bricks of jade each topped with beige picture jasper rondelles are hand coiled with sterling silver wire. Red heart trade beads that we picked up at the annual Ascend charity event that The Beaded Garden donates to. This event serves third world countries by building schools, wells, gives books and medical supplies, plus many more helpful contributions. Salt Lake City glass artist Julie Merwin created this one of a kind incredible 1 inch lampwork pendant. Inside the pendant looks like the sea surrounded by mystical purples and blues. The first necklace is 17 inches and made up of sterling chains, circle links, onyx barrells and rondelles, hematite, plus white satin freshwater pearls. Sterling silver toggle. For the first time ever Lisa Holt has created a timeless piece using the RARE stone Larimar featured in this stunning focal (3/4 inch wide x 1 1/2 inch excluding the bail). The pendant is encased with sterling silver. Larimar is mined on only ONE unique Caribbean mountain and found nowhere else in the world. High on the isolated mountaintop, miners use only picks and shovels to work the deposits. Discovered in the 1970's Larimar has an extraordinary blue appearance similar to the color of the ocean in tropical areas. The name "Larimar" was given by the Dominican who discovered the stone. It is a combination of Larissa (his daughter’s name) and Mar, the Spanish word for sea. To top it off are satin white 10mm freshwater pearls each embraced by Thailand silver accents.
